Who we are

This website (starverb-audio.com) and the StarVerb Audio plugins are operated by Sir Emanuels, an individual developer based in Italy, acting as data controller. For anything related to your data, write to starverbaudio.support@gmail.com.

The short version

This site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not load resources from third-party servers (fonts and images are served directly by the site). We collect as little as technically possible.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). Like any web host, Netlify automatically processes technical data of visitors — IP address, browser user agent, requested pages, timestamps — in server logs, for security and operation of the service. See the Netlify Privacy Policy for details. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

Downloads

Our plugins are currently free and are delivered through Gumroad, Inc. To send you the download link, Gumroad collects your email address and the technical data of the download, and processes it under the Gumroad Privacy Policy. We can see, in our Gumroad dashboard, the email addresses of people who downloaded a plugin, and we use them only to deliver the product and to answer support requests — not to send marketing unless you explicitly subscribe. If we start selling plugins in the future, Gumroad will act as merchant of record and this section will be updated accordingly.

Update check inside the plugins

When you open its interface, a plugin contacts this website at most once a day to read a small file containing the latest published version number, so it can tell you when an update is available. The request carries no personal data, no licence key, no identifier and no information about how you use the plugin or your projects. Like any web request it does expose your IP address and the connection data your system sends by default, which Netlify records in the hosting logs described above; we do not use those logs to identify or profile you, and nothing is shared with third parties. The result is cached locally on your computer. If you are offline, the check fails silently and the plugin works normally. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in letting you know about fixes and new versions of software you already installed.

Email contact

If you write to us, we use your email address and the content of your message only to reply and provide support. Messages are kept only as long as needed for that purpose.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali). To exercise any of these rights, contact starverbaudio.support@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
